About

alexreid

This blog investigates digital media and culture. I am particularly interested in how emerging technologies shape rhetorical and compositional practices, as well as how they transform the ways that we teach and learn. I have been running this blog fairly steadily since 2003 with more than 1000 posts. Over that period the web has been transformed, and there is much here that covers those shifts, especially as they impacted writing and teaching. I imagine I will continue covering these issues as I believe the humanities and higher education has only begun to feel the effects of these changes.
